Job Description:

A Senior Accountant manages daily accounting operations, prepares financial statements and reports, and ensures compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include performing reconciliations, managing month-end and year-end closes, analyzing accounting data, and assisting with audits. Core responsibilities
Financial reporting and analysis:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and data to provide insights for management decisions.
Accounting operations:

Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts.
Month-end and year-end close:

Manage and execute the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconciliation:

Perform regular and accurate reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy.
Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including tax laws like GST and TDS.
Auditing:





Assist with internal and external audits, including preparing documentation and providing support.
Process improvement:

Identify errors and inefficiencies, and recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.

Qualifications and skills
Education:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree or certifications like CPA are often preferred.
Experience:
