As a Senior Accountant at Ajmera Infotech Pvt. Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in the Finance department, responsible for overseeing various financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This position requires a robust understanding of financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Assist with the quarterly/annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
Prepare and process monthly payroll
Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in compliance with GAAP
Prepare and review month-end closing journal entries, including resolving discrepancies and ensuring entries are in accordance with US GAAP
Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting schedules
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff,



fostering their career development and growth
Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency, accuracy and overall effectiveness of the accounting department
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data for decision-making.
Preparing and filing monthly GST returns
Deduction of TDS and Preparing TDS return

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
Robust problem-solving, analytical, and organization skills
Robust knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as [List relevant software/tools]
