Job Description:

A Field Sales Executive/Officer for an auto dealer drives vehicle sales by prospecting, engaging clients, and closing deals, both in office and through field visits. They must possess robust communication and negotiation skills to meet sales targets, manage customer relationships, and stay updated on product knowledge. This is a field-based, result-oriented role.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales: Actively identify, approach, and secure current customers, conducting test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
Field Activities: Visit potential clients, corporate offices, or community events to generate leads and boost brand presence.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales volume targets for new or used vehicles.
Deal Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate prices, trade-ins, and financing options, finalizing sales contracts and ensuring smooth, timely vehicle delivery.
Relationship Management: Maintain long-term customer relationships for referrals and provide excellent post-sale support.
Market Intelligence:



Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales, field sales, or direct sales (1+ years preferred).
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and handle negotiations, often in a 30 Statements To Help You Close the Sale article format.
Driving License: A valid driver’s license is required for test drives and field mobility.
Target-Oriented: A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong drive for achieving results.

Working Conditions
This role requires extensive local travel for client meetings, in addition to time spent in the dealership showroom.
