A background in counseling or career services in a higher education setting is preferred.
Job Description
Provide counselling and support services to students and students at the institute
Develop and implement mental health programs and initiatives
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions
Assess and address mental health needs and concerns of students and staff
Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive support services
Stay current on mental health trends and research
Maintain confidential and accurate records of counselling sessions
Provide crisis intervention and referral services as needed
Work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
Support the overall well-being and success of students and staff.
