Job Description
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand product requirements
Develop detailed design specifications for new products or product improvements
Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software
Evaluate designs for manufacturability and suggest improvements
Conduct simulations and tests to validate design concepts
Work closely with manufacturers to ensure designs are optimized for production
Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to continually improve design processes
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met
Provide technical support during the production phase
Assist with product launch and post-launch activities to ensure product success.
