Position Title: Embedded Developer
Job Overview: As an Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for various electronic devices. Your primary focus will be on low-level programming, hardware-software integration, and optimizing system performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions that meet the specified requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Embedded Software Development:
Design and implement embedded software for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other embedded systems.
Develop and optimize low-level drivers and firmware to interface with hardware components.
Hardware Integration:
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronic hardware designs.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
System Architecture:
Contribute to the system architecture design, ensuring productive utilization of resources and meeting performance requirements.
Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS):
Work with RTOS or bare-metal settings to develop real-time embedded systems.
Implement scheduling algorithms and manage system resources in real-time applications.
Testing and Validation:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of embedded systems.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing as part of the development process.
Documentation:
Create and maintain documentation for software design, code, and testing procedures.
Collaborate with technical writers to produce user manuals and other documentation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and quality assurance teams.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on system architecture and software design.
