ABOUT THE ROLE
The Research Associate will support the International Trade vertical at ICPP, working under the leadership of Mr. Vijay Singh Chauhan and contributing to policy-oriented research on international trade and economic policy. The role will support data collection and analysis, literature reviews, research documentation, policy-focused outputs, and stakeholder events. In the first six months, success will mean reliable research support, well-organised data and materials, and meaningful contributions to ongoing research projects.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect, clean, organise, and document data from primary and secondary sources for ongoing research projects.




Conduct literature reviews and synthesise relevant academic and policy research to support project development.
Support quantitative analysis under supervision, using appropriate statistical tools and maintaining accuracy in research outputs.
Prepare background materials, research summaries, and draft sections of working papers, policy briefs, and case studies.
Format and edit research outputs for academic and policy audiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, and attention to detail.
Track policy developments, legislative updates, and current debates relevant to the International Trade research agenda.
Support stakeholder roundtables, workshops, research events, and other activities that advance ICPP's research and policy engagement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Economics, Trade, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field is preferred; applicants from other academic backgrounds with a solid interest in Trade research are also encouraged
