Job Description:

An accountant manages an organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with tax laws, and proper bookkeeping. Key duties include reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements (balance sheets, profit & loss), processing payroll, auditing, and providing financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Recording: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
Tax Compliance:
Calculate, prepare, and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Budgeting & Analysis: Analyze financial data, monitor expenses, and develop forecasts and budgets for management.
