OUR IMPACT
The Bank Account Management team serves as the architects of the firm’s global banking network. We are responsible for managing strategic relationships with a vast network of agent banks and vendors to ensure seamless global connectivity. BAM leverages its network to develop creative industry solutions while maintaining uncompromising standards for service quality and risk management. By partnering across nearly every division, we provide the foundational infrastructure that enables the firm’s global cash management, payment, and trading activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the strategic management of external agent bank relationships to achieve the firm’s commercial and long-term strategic goals.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle (opening, maintenance, and closure) of the firm’s cash and securities bank accounts, with a focus on navigating complex requirements in emerging and client-specific markets.
Orchestrate onboarding and periodic Know Your Customer (KYC) Due Diligence processes, serving as a subject matter expert for both agent banks and internal legal/compliance teams.
Execute bank account dormancy reviews and proactively identify prospects for account rationalization to reduce operational risk and cost.
Collaborate with internal divisions to lead and progress industry and regulatory initiatives (e.g., T+1 settlement shifts, ISO 20022 adoption).
Evaluate current business proposals to assess and mitigate impact on account management requirements within the agent bank network.
Identify process inefficiencies and champion automation or workflow enhancements to increase the
