Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in power transformer design . The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in transformer design, engineering calculations, and exposure to manufacturing and testing processes. You will play a key role in delivering reliable and productive transformer solutions aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design power and distribution transformers including core, winding, insulation, and cooling systems
Perform detailed electrical and mechanical design calculations (losses, impedance, thermal performance, etc.)
Prepare and review technical drawings, GA drawings, BOMs, and design documents
Independently handle or support core and winding design activities
Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
Provide technical support during manufacturing stages: core assembly, winding, tanking,



and final assembly
Participate in routine and type testing (IR, ratio test, impedance, load/no-load losses, temperature rise, etc.)
Ensure compliance with IEC / IS standards and internal quality procedures
Analyze test results and troubleshoot design/manufacturing issues
Support quality inspections and implement corrective/preventive actions
Maintain design records, technical reports, and documentation
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Required Skills & Knowledge
Robust knowledge of:
Power systems and electrical machines
Transformer design principles (core, winding, losses, cooling methods)
Proven hands-on experience in power transformer design
Familiarity with IEC / IS standards
Ability to interpret and create electrical drawings and schematics
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
