NURSING SUPERINTENDENT

Description

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the overall nursing services of the hospital.
Ensure high standards of patient care, nursing quality and patient safety.
Manage nursing manpower, duty rosters, staffing and deployment.
Monitor nursing practices, documentation, infection control and adherence to hospital protocols.
Coordinate with doctors, clinical departments and hospital administration for smooth patient care.
Conduct regular nursing audits, training and competency assessments.
Address patient and staff concerns and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards, statutory requirements and hospital SOPs.
Monitor nursing KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.




Lead and mentor the nursing team and promote a culture of accountability and service excellence.

Candidate Profile
Solid leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of hospital nursing operations and quality standards.
Proven ability to manage large nursing teams in a multispecialty hospital.
Patient-centric, disciplined and results-oriented.
