We’re looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to join our Platform Services function. Reporting into the Network Engineering leadership team, this role will help operate and support FNZ’s enterprise network estate, contributing to the stability, performance, security, and ongoing improvement of our on-prem, hybrid, and cloud settings.
What you’ll be doing

As a Network Engineer, you’ll be part of the regional Network Engineering team, helping to maintain and improve secure, resilient, and high-performing network services across FNZ.

Your responsibilities will include:

Network Operations & Engineering
Supporting the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of FNZ’s enterprise network infrastructure




Supporting the investigation and resolution of network incidents and service issues, escalating where required
Troubleshooting and resolving network performance, availability, and connectivity issues
Supporting lifecycle management activity including upgrades, patching, configuration improvements, and infrastructure refreshes
Ensuring network services remain highly available, secure, and aligned to business needs

Design, Delivery & Improvement
Contributing to the design and delivery of network solutions for recent and existing systems
Working with Network Architecture to implement recent tooling, infrastructure, and network capabilities
Supporting the review of existing technologies and identifying practical improvements
Helping to enhance automation and reduce manual, repeatable network tasks
Supporting continuous improvement of operational procedures, standards, and documentation
