Job Title - Engineer - Product Design
Job Summary: As an Engineer – Product Design, you will be part of an creative global current product development team responsible for the end‑to‑end development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL). You will translate creative ideas into practical engineering solutions through concept generation, modelling, prototyping, and validation, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and manufacturable designs.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL).
Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements.
Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proof‑of‑concept prototypes.
Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations, sketches, and 3D modelling.
Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis.
Prepare detailed designs, engineering drawings,



and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents.
Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads, project managers, and team members.
Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge
Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
