Job Description
Oversee team of packing assistants to ensure all orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on time
Train new employees on packing procedures and quality control standards
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate teams
Collaborate with warehouse managers to optimize packing processes and improve efficiency
Conduct regular checks on packing equipment to ensure proper function and maintenance
Implement safety procedures and guidelines to reduce risk of accidents or injuries in the packing area
Communicate with shipping department to ensure orders are packed according to shipping requirements
Assist with resolving customer complaints related to packing errors or damages
Ensure packing area is organized and clean to maintain a safe and effective work environment
Assist packing team with daily tasks as needed to meet production goals and deadlines
