We are expanding our Canada Tax practice in India. This group is focused on advising public and private multinational enterprises. Our professionals focus on our clients’ business and industry issues, collaborate on cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and optimize the core tax functions of our clients – all while delivering digitally-enabled business tax services in conjunction with our tax technology teams.
As a Tax Senior Associate, you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around three core concepts (Technical & Quality Expertise,
People & Talent Management, and Client Service/Business Development):
Train and develop junior staff members
Provide detailed review and analysis of tax returns
Assist the assurance team with tax provision reviews and prepare and review tax provision working papers for non-assurance clients
Manage risk for the client and the firm
Work on multiple complex issues while communicating in a client-centric manner
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and tax accounting
Reviewing research findings and ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and qualified standards
Assist with recent business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients
Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Some travel may be required
