Role & responsibilities

1.Solid hands-on experience in IBM z/OS mainframe application development and support.
Proficiency in COBOL (batch and/or online) including VSAM and file handling concepts.
Robust experience in JCL, job streams, scheduling, restart/recovery, and core utilities (SORT, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, etc.).
Database skills in DB2 (SQL, bind/package, performance basics) or IMS-DB (DL/I, PSB/PCB concepts).
Online transaction processing experience in CICS (BMS, COMMAREA, channels/containers, sync points) or IMS-DC.
