About the Role

We are looking for a Support Specialist to support the operational stability of non-production applications and environments within Capital Markets.

The role will focus on Control-M scheduling, Linux shell scripting, batch job support, SQL/database troubleshooting, application integration, and environment support, with a strong focus on Murex and Capital Markets applications.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Control-M scheduling and batch job issues across development, testing, and production environments.
Support deployment and management of batch jobs, workflows, and automated scheduling processes.
Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation, data processing, and system administration.
Perform database support activities including SQL queries, query optimization, performance tuning, and data validation.
Troubleshoot batch processing issues, system integrations, and application/setting problems.




Provide L2/L3 technical support for batch failures and system performance issues.
Work closely with Development and Operations teams to investigate incidents and implement fixes.
Troubleshoot Control-M job dependencies, failure scenarios, logs, and promotion rules.

Must-Have Skills - Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and batch processing.
Solid Linux/Unix shell scripting skills, including complex automation scripts.
Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with SQL query writing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
Experience troubleshooting batch jobs, workflows, and system integrations.
Hands-on experience supporting Murex or other Capital Markets applications.
Experience providing L2/L3 application/workplace support.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
