Role & responsibilities
Design electrical control panels and power panels in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
Robust knowledge of LT/LV electrical panel design and manufacturing.
Practical knowledge of PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, VFD and distribution panels.
Positive understanding of ACB, MCCB, MCB, contactors, relays, CTs, meters, protection relays and other LV components.
Knowledge of busbar sizing, short-circuit calculations, cable sizing and component selection.
Ability to understand and prepare SLD and control wiring diagrams.
Good knowledge of panel construction, IP ratings, form of separation, cable routing and component mounting.
Familiarity with relevant IEC/IS standards for LV switchgear and assemblies.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and technical datasheets.
Provide technical support during installation and troubleshooting
Maintain design documentation and follow revision control procedures
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control circuits
Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Insta-Quote or similar.
Understanding of electrical safety practices and regulatory standards
