Role & responsibilities
Keep up to date with changes in occupational health and safety (OHS) laws.
Assist in developing JSAs for all activities
Organize safety training programs for workers and management. Promote a safety-first culture among employees.
Investigate workplace accidents and near-misses.
Assist in Preparing incident reports and suggest corrective actions.
Conduct regular safety audits to check for compliance with safety standards.
Identify unsafe practices and suggest improvements.
Advice for the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Assist in maintaining secure working conditions in hazardous settings.
Preferred candidate profile
Educational Qualification:
A degree in engineering & technology
A diploma in industrial safety from a recognized institution ( RLI / CLI ) or ADIS, PDIS.
Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in manufacturing industry
Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with occupational health, safety law, Training in accident prevention, hazard identification, and risk assessment. Ability to conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
