JOB DESCRIPTION: HR & RECRUITMENT MANAGER

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR skilled to manage recruitment, employee relations and HR operations across our schools. The candidate must have sound knowledge of employment laws, understand and implement organisational policies, and handle staff matters confidently, fairly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage recruitment for teaching, non-teaching, administrative and leadership positions.
Source, screen and interview candidates, coordinating teaching demonstrations where required.
Verify qualifications, experience, references and relevant employment documentation.
Prepare offer letters, appointment letters and employment agreements.
Conduct induction and explain job responsibilities, policies and performance expectations.

Employee Relations & Staff Management
Handle employee concerns, grievances,



conflicts and disciplinary matters with confidentiality and impartiality.
Monitor attendance, leave, punctuality, conduct and compliance with school policies.
Coordinate probation reviews, performance evaluations and improvement plans with school heads.
Maintain explicit records of complaints, discussions, warnings and agreed actions.
Manage resignations, notice periods, handovers, exit interviews and clearance processes.

Legal Awareness & Policy Implementation
Maintain working knowledge of applicable employment laws and statutory HR requirements.
Draft, review and implement HR policies in consultation with management and legal advisers.
Ensure employment documentation and HR procedures align with applicable requirements.
Explain policies clearly and apply them consistently across campuses.
Coordinate with legal advisers on employment disputes, notices and complex disciplinary cases.
