About the Role
Dolat Capital is looking for an experienced Business Development & Deal Origination skilled to join its Investment Banking team. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining senior-level relationships with corporates, promoters, financial sponsors, investors and other key stakeholders, with a strong focus on originating and converting investment banking mandates.
The individual will be expected to independently identify business opportunities, build a strong transaction pipeline, develop client relationships and work closely with the Investment Banking team to convert opportunities into mandates across Equity Capital Markets, M&A;, Private Equity, Fundraising and other strategic transactions.
The role requires strong commercial orientation, extensive market connectivity and a demonstrated ability to originate transactions.
Key Responsibilities




Business Development & Origination
• Identify and develop recent business opportunities across corporates, promoters, family-owned businesses, financial sponsors and institutional investors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with CXO-level executives, promoters, CFOs, business owners and senior decision-makers.
• Originate recent mandates across ECM, IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Private Placements, PE, M&A;, Fundraising and strategic advisory.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and transaction opportunities.
• Identify companies requiring capital raising, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, divestments or other financial solutions.
• Generate actionable transaction ideas based on sector trends, company developments, capital-market conditions and client requirements.
• Convert relationships and business opportunities into mandates in coordination with the Investment Banking team.
