nREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Vertex O Series or Vertex Cloud experience — configuration and administration. Vertex - end to end installation / configuration / Setting rules / instance managementn
Robust understanding of U.S. sales & use tax rule structuresn
Experience with Boolean logic and conditional tax rule configuration in a tax enginen
Instance setup and workplace management expertisen
Familiarity with integrating Vertex into large-scale e-commerce or ERP environmentsn
Understanding of U.S. marketplace facilitator legislation and its impact on tax engine configurationn
Ability to work within a shared/part time consulting model, coordinating across team membersn

Vertex O Series Associate Implementer certification or equivalentn
Prior experience supporting a large marketplace platformn
