Senior Tech Lead - AI-Assisted Software Engineering
India | Fully Remote | Part-Time | Freelance Contract

We are supporting a global organisation looking for an experienced Senior Tech Lead to take ownership of the technical delivery of a current production application.
This is a part-time, fully remote freelance prospect based in India, combining hands-on full-stack engineering, Azure/DevOps, solution architecture and AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities
Own the technical architecture, development and delivery of the application.
Develop and extend the solution using AI-assisted coding tools.
Lead full-stack development and maintain robust code quality.
Translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
Manage testing, deployment, cutover and post-go-live support.
Establish reusable AI development practices, frameworks and guardrails.




Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
Drive continuous improvement across development processes.

Essential Experience
8+ years' software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on full-stack development experience.
ReactJS, TypeScript/JavaScript and NestJS.
PostgreSQL, Docker and CI/CD.
Azure experience including Container Apps, PostgreSQL, Key Vault and Entra ID.
Terraform, Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Experience building production-grade applications.
Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
Strong understanding of APIs and modern software architectures.
Ability to manage technical delivery independently.

Experience within a regulated or pharmaceutical environment is advantageous.
