About the Role

Canopy Hills Resort, Munnar is looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in food preparation, maintain high standards of hygiene and quality, and be able to work efficiently in a hotel/resort workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu standards.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and kitchen hygiene.
Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate with the kitchen team.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
Monitor food stock and minimize wastage.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in menu preparation and suggest new dishes when required.
Ensure timely preparation of food during busy service hours.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen and hotel staff.





Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef/Cook in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or similar establishment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Passion for cooking and maintaining food quality.
Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
