Key Responsibilities
- Patient Reception & Care: Greet patients, answer inquiries, explain basic non-clinical procedures, and monitor patient comfort in waiting areas.
Scheduling & Coordination: Book and manage nuclear medicine appointments , coordinate schedules with technologists, nursing staff, and transporters.
Documentation & Records: Maintain electronic health records (EHR/HIS), handle data entry, file patient reports, scan documents, and manage dispatch/couriers.
Inventory & Supplies: Monitor and order non-radioactive office and medical supplies, and stock departmental inventories.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain patient data confidentiality under HIPAA/privacy norms and follow basic safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma (10th or 12th pass) or a certificate/diploma in Medical Office Administration or related fields.
Experience: Previous front-office or clerical experience in a hospital, radiology, or medical clinical setting preferred.
