We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join Alliance Machinery’s current equipment manufacturing division, with a primary focus on developing and manufacturing industrial and pharmaceutical centrifuges.
The role involves end-to-end responsibility from concept and mechanical design to detailed drawings, BOM, vendor coordination, fabrication, machining, assembly, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in industrial machinery, process equipment, rotating equipment or centrifuges and be comfortable working directly on the shop floor with fabricators and technicians.
Solid knowledge of mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, couplings, motors, gearboxes, seals and drive systems is required. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar CAD software is expected.
We are specifically looking for someone who can independently convert a customer requirement into a practical, manufacturable machine design and take ownership through fabrication and commissioning.
Candidates with hands-on experience in centrifuges, rotating equipment, pharmaceutical machinery, chemical process equipment or similar machinery will be strongly preferred.
This is an prospect to join at the early stage of a new product-development and manufacturing division and play a key role in building Alliance Machinery’s own centrifuge product line.
