We are looking for a technically skilled Assembly Engineer to manage and execute the mechanical assembly of CNC/VMC machines, ensuring proper fitment, alignment, quality and timely completion of machines as per engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Handle assembly of CNC/VMC machines and machine components as per drawings and assembly procedures.
Ensure proper fitment, alignment and accuracy of machine components.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality and Electrical teams for smooth machine assembly.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, engineering drawings and BOMs.
Handle assembly of components such as spindle, ball screw, linear guideways, slides, tool changer and other machine assemblies.
Ensure proper installation and alignment of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
Perform inspection and basic troubleshooting during the assembly process.
Identify assembly-related issues and coordinate with concerned departments for corrective action.
Ensure machines are assembled as per quality standards, specifications and production schedules.
Support machine testing, trial runs and final inspection before dispatch.
Maintain proper assembly records and report progress to the concerned HOD.

Hands-on experience in machine assembly will be an added advantage.
