Position: Sr. Chemist – Raw Materials

Key Responsibilities
Quality Testing
Lead and conduct physical and chemical quality tests on raw materials using approved testing methods and laboratory equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality testing activities and submit reports to the reporting manager.
Supervise sample collection from incoming raw materials, production units, and slag.
Prepare and circulate daily quality reports to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure proper grade labeling and allocation of finished goods for dispatch.
Conduct additional quality tests as required by management.
Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Raise maintenance requests for laboratory equipment and purchase requisitions for required chemicals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in raw material testing.
Experience in the steel, Ferro alloy, or manufacturing industry is mandatory.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
