Indcoil Transformers Pvt. Ltd. is a 50+ year-old established manufacturer of oil-filled and dry-type transformers, serving leading government, infrastructure and private-sector customers across India.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Purchase Manager to handle procurement and vendor coordination for our transformer manufacturing operations. The candidate should have prior purchasing experience in a manufacturing or engineering company and be comfortable independently managing day-to-day procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of raw materials, components, consumables and engineering items required for manufacturing.
Float enquiries, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery through regular vendor follow-up.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, Stores and Quality teams for material requirements and priorities.
Develop new vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
Monitor pending POs, shortages and critical materials to avoid delays in production.
Maintain purchase records, vendor quotations, PO documentation and price history.
Support cost reduction and alternate vendor development without compromising quality or delivery.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate / Diploma / BE in Engineering, Commerce or Management.
3–4 years of Purchase/Procurement experience in a manufacturing workplace.
Experience in electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, control panels, engineering or capital goods will be preferred.
Positive working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
Desired Skills
Strong vendor negotiation, commercial understanding, follow-up and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and delivery commitments simultaneously.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
