About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Café Cum Restaurant Manager who understands the Purna Das Road / South Kolkata F&B; market and can help us build and operate a premium café-restaurant from the ground up.

The ideal candidate should know what works, what doesn’t, what customers expect, and how to create a premium yet commercially successful experience.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in pre-opening setup, including layout, service flow, equipment, SOPs and operational planning.
Provide practical insights on Purna Das Road, Golpark and South Kolkata customers, competition and market trends.
Work closely with the Chef, designers, vendors and management during setup.
Build and maintain premium service and hospitality standards.
Manage daily FOH operations, customer experience, billing, inventory, hygiene and service quality.
Recruit, train and manage the restaurant team.
Handle customer relationships, complaints and VIP/regular guests.
Work with the Chef on menu engineering, pricing, presentation, portioning and commercial viability.
Drive upselling,



repeat customers and overall restaurant revenue.
Monitor wastage, operational costs and staff productivity.
Be the eyes and ears of management on the floor, identifying problems and suggesting solutions.

Ideal Candidate
3–7 years of experience in cafés, restaurants or premium casual dining.
Strong understanding of Purna Das Road / South Kolkata F&B; culture.
Preferably has worked with or closely understands successful cafés/restaurants in the area.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Solid understanding of premium hospitality, ambience and guest experience.
Commercially aware and able to distinguish between ideas that look positive and ideas that actually work.
Hands-on, proactive and capable of taking ownership.
Robust team-management and problem-solving skills.

Someone who can genuinely contribute beyond daily operations help us set up the café, build the right team, create the right experience and make the concept work commercially.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
