Key Responsibilities
Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.).
Perform routine tests in Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, and Clinical Pathology as applicable.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
Ensure proper calibration, QC (quality control), and maintenance of equipment.
Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all tests.
Enter results accurately into the LIS (Laboratory Information System).
Maintain proper sample storage, disposal, and biosafety measures.
Assist in preparing reagents and maintaining inventory of lab consumables.
Ensure compliance with NABL standards (if applicable).
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards inside the lab.
Coordinate with phlebotomists, front office, and logistics teams for smooth sample flow.
Report any equipment faults or QC failures to the Lab Incharge immediately.
