Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop lithium-ion battery cells for energy storage and EV applications.
Optimize cell architecture, electrode design, and material selection to improve energy density, power density, cycle life, and safety.
Perform electrochemical modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with R&D;, process engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams for cell development and scale-up.
Analyze cell performance through testing, validation, and failure analysis.
Develop Design Verification Plans (DVP) and support qualification testing.
Evaluate current battery materials, technologies, and cell chemistries.
Drive continuous improvement in cell performance, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
Support pilot production and technology transfer to manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and product specifications.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Engineering, or related field.
