Ensure the smooth and protected operation of all electrical systems and equipment.
Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
Monitor electrical panels, motors, machines, lighting, DG, compressors and other electrical systems.
Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists and breakdown reports.
Conduct regular inspection of electrical panels, cables, switches, earthing and protection systems.
Monitor power consumption and identify opportunities to reduce energy wastage.
Coordinate with external electrical contractors and service providers.
Ensure electrical work is carried out as per company safety procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
Ensure proper use of PPE and protected isolation/LOTO practices during electrical maintenance.
Maintain adequate stock of electrical spare parts and consumables.
Support electrical safety inspections, audits and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, HR, Safety and other departments for maintenance requirements.
Guide and supervise electricians and maintenance staff
