Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced audit qualified to coordinate and execute US GAAP financial statement audit work. The potential engagement covers three financial years, with a target of completion by year-end.
The candidate will manage day-to-day audit activities, coordinate supporting staff, and track progress under the supervision of the Audit Manager or engagement partner.
Key Responsibilities• Review accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting documents for three financial years.
• Prepare audit workpapers, perform testing, and resolve review comments.
• Identify documentation gaps, accounting discrepancies, and US GAAP issues.
• Coordinate with the client’s accounting team and follow up on outstanding requests.
• Guide junior audit staff and review assigned work.
• Maintain audit timelines and flag delays or unresolved issues.
• Assist with financial statement and disclosure review.
• Attend client and team calls during the agreed US business hours.
Required Qualifications• CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification; part-qualified candidates with relevant experience may apply.
• Minimum 3 years of external audit experience, including US GAAP engagements.
• Working knowledge of relevant auditing standards.
• Solid audit documentation, Excel, and financial analysis skills.
• Explicit communication and ability to manage deadlines.
• Availability for at least 4 hours daily during US business hours.
Preferred: Experience with US CPA firms, multi-year or catch-up audits, and supervising junior staff.
• Delivery expectations: Help assess audit readiness and prepare a realistic timeline and staffing estimate. Year-end completion will depend on record readiness, scope, staffing, and timely client responses.
