We are looking for a passionate agriculture qualified with a genuine interest in organic farming to join our team. This is a multi-faceted role combining farm operations, sales, store management, and community education.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee organic vegetable production planning, sowing, crop care, pest control (organic methods), harvesting, and quality control
Sell farm produce directly to customers managing retail sales, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets
Manage the farm store inventory, billing, stock rotation, display, and day-to-day store operations
Represent the farm at markets/events and promote organic produce
Conduct occasional training sessions and workshops on organic farming for farmers, community groups, and school students.
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture,
or a related field (B.Sc./M.Sc. Agriculture preferred; equivalent practical experience considered)
Hands-on exposure to organic farming practices (composting, vermiculture, bio-pesticides, crop rotation, etc.)
Valuable communication skills comfortable speaking to customers, farmers, and students
Basic store/inventory management ability; familiarity with billing/POS is a plus
Enthusiasm for teaching and community outreach
Willingness to work on-site at the farm location
