- We are seeking a passionate and skilled Scala Developer to design develop and optimize large scale data processing solutions
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Scala programming distributed data processing frameworks and modern data engineering practices
- You will work closely with data engineers architects analysts and business stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that enable data driven decision making across enterprises

Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and deploy scalable applications using Scala
- Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala
- Develop ETL ELT workflows to ingest transform and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with business analytics and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write efficient maintainable and reusable code following software engineering best practices
- Optimize application and data pipeline performance through tuning monitoring and troubleshooting
- Integrate solutions with databases data lakes and cloud platforms
- Ensure data quality reliability scalability and security across data solutions
- Participate in code reviews design discussions and knowledge sharing sessions
- Support production deployments and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Technical Requirements:
- 3 5 years of hands on experience in Scala development
- Strong proficiency in Scala programming concepts functional programming collections concurrency and object oriented design
- Experience with Apache Spark Spark SQL DataFrames Dataset APIs
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle PostgreSQL SQL Server or MySQL
- Knowledge of data structures algorithms and software design principles
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL data processing applications
- Familiarity with Unix Linux environments and shell scripting
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of distributed computing and big data concepts
