- We are looking for an experienced Tableau Administrator BI Platform Administrator with 5 years of experience in BI reporting platforms preferably Tableau and or Power BI
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for platform administration infrastructure management security governance performance optimization and L2 L3 operational support
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud environments
- Manage sites projects users groups roles and permissions
- Configure and maintain Tableau Server infrastructure including Tableau Services Manager TSM gateways and related components
- Monitor platform performance Backgrounder jobs extract refreshes capacity and resource utilization
- Manage Tableau upgrades patches backups restores and platform maintenance activities
- Support Development Test and Production environments including deployment and release processes
- Administer user access workspaces projects capacity and platform security
- Configure and support SSO integration authentication security controls and audit logging
- Set up and troubleshoot gateways data source connectivity and related integration issues
- Optimize extract refresh schedules concurrency workload distribution and resource utilization
- Implement and enforce BI governance content certification access reviews audit requirements and compliance standards
- Drive platform standardization and content rationalization to improve operational efficiency
- Provide L2 L3 production support including troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis RCA
- Troubleshoot platform and reporting failures and coordinate with Tableau Support or other relevant teams when required
- Handle ticket based operations including incidents service requests changes releases and problem management within defined SLAs
- Follow established MIM processes and support Major Incident Management activities when required
- Collaborate with infrastructure security database application and business teams to resolve platform related issues
Technical Requirements:
- Experience administering Tableau Server Tableau Cloud
- Manage sites projects users groups and permissions
- Configure and maintain Tableau Server infrastructure TSM and gateways
- Monitor performance backgrounder jobs extract refreshes and capacity
- Manage Tableau upgrades patching backups and restores
- Enforce governance content certification and access reviews
- Support Dev Test Prod environments and deployment processes
- Oversee SSO integration security and audit logging
- Troubleshoot failures and coordinate with Tableau support
- Optimize extract schedules concurrency and resource usage
- Drive platform standardization and content rationalization
- Support ticket based operations incidents service requests changes within SLA
- 2 Years proven experience in any reporting tool as admin preferably with Power BI Tableau
- Platform administration experience in at least one BI tool
- User workspace capacity and security administration
- L2 L3 operational support with RCA ownership
- Gateway setup and connectivity troubleshooting
- Incident change release support within SLA
- Governance audit logging and compliance
- MIM experience and process knowledge
