About This Opportunity
We are seeking an Associate Lead - Technical Design to lead a team of Technical Designers responsible for creating and maintaining design assets across multiple digital platforms. This is an entry-level leadership position that combines hands-on technical production with team coordination and coaching responsibilities. While continuing to contribute directly to design deliverables, this role provides day-to-day guidance, quality oversight, and mentorship for a small team of Technical Designers.
General Purpose
The Associate Lead - Technical Design serves as the team's primary technical resource, translating finalized furniture layouts and planning concepts into design files supporting AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Working from existing CET Designer drawings and established design documentation, this role ensures technical assets accurately represent design intent, planning requirements, and current product specifications.
Essential Functions
• Lead the creation and maintenance of design assets in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other applicable platforms.
• Utilize CET Designer and established design resources as the basis of design.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for application planning and design documentation questions.
• Review team deliverables for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
• Provide guidance and support to Technical Designers on design tools, drawing methods, and planning requirements.
