Job Summary
The Senior Solution Account Manager, Discrete Automation Solutions, North & East will be responsible for managing the North & East region and driving consultative, solution-based sales within core discrete automation industries The role will focus on recent business development, key account management, and positioning Belden’s discrete automation and digitalization offerings to end users, OEMs, machine builders,



system integrators, and consultants.
This position reports to the Solution Sales Director.
You will make an impact in the following way:
•
Achieve or exceed regional sales targets and budgets for the Discrete Automation business.
•
Drive solution-based selling, articulating the value of Belden automation offerings aligned to customer needs.
•
Actively engage and spec-in Belden solutions across the ecosystem — OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, end users, and consultants.
•
Own opportunity management — including qualification, solution proposal, technical coordination, negotiation, and closure — with strong funnel discipline.
•
Provide timely and high-quality proposals, quotations, and application support to customers.
•
Build and execute account/territory plans with a sharp focus on opportunity development, competitive intelligence, and customer relationship mapping.
