Markets Technology is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior .NET Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work alongside senior software engineers, architects, and product owners to design, build, test, and maintain modern web applications and microservices that power our global financial platforms.
This position is tailored for early-career developers or recent graduates with solid foundational knowledge in object-oriented programming, .NET technologies, relational databases, and modern front-end web development. Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development & Engineering
• Develop, debug, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Assist in developing responsive, user-friendly UI components using Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Write productive SQL queries, stored procedures, and interact with databases using SQL Server.
• Integrate application components with messaging platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka) and third-party APIs under the mentorship of senior team members.
2. Quality Assurance, Testing & Code Health
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Jasmine.
• Participate in peer code reviews to receive constructive feedback, learn enterprise coding standards, and improve code maintainability.
• Identify, triage, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
3. Agile Collaboration & DevOps
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
