The Engineering Manager will drive the engineering practices within Kaplan's engineering team. In this role, you will be a key component in growing the team and guiding software development to successfully scale, as our business grows.



As a leader on the team, you will be charged with solving complex technology problems in an agile environment, constantly learning and adapting to rapidly evolving customer needs.

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage a team of software engineers to architect, design, build and test enterprise software applications.
• Ensure that the Kaplan software development lifecycle processes are followed, and where appropriate contribute to improvement of those processes.
• Participate in architecture discussions for product development and advocate use of automation in development practices likeCI, testing, operational efficiency, etc.
• Work with the Executive Director, other development managers, and diverse teams including product owners, scrum master, devops, database and UI specialists, in order to get work done efficiently.
