Position Summary
The Senior Software Development Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise software applications and supporting infrastructure. This role serves as a technical leader within the development team, delivering scalable web-based solutions, integrating business systems, optimizing application performance, and ensuring reliable production operations across multiple platforms.
The engineer collaborates closely with business stakeholders, project teams, IT infrastructure groups, and product owners to design and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, and support customer and internal user needs. The role requires extensive hands-on experience across the full technology stack, including backend Java development, frontend development, server administration, database integration, and enterprise application support.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development and Architecture
• Design, develop, enhance,



and maintain enterprise web applications and internal business tools.
• Build scalable Java-based applications using up-to-date software engineering principles and MVC design patterns.
• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Implement secure, maintainable, and high-performing application architectures.
• Participate in technical design sessions, solution architecture discussions, and code reviews.
API and Systems Integration
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services.
• Integrate applications with internal and external platforms, databases, and third-party systems.
• Develop data exchange processes and automation workflows.
• Support migration and modernization initiatives involving legacy applications and platforms.
