Job Synopsis:
The Legal & Compliance Counsel, India provides in-country legal and compliance leadership for Sandvik Rock Processing in India: Sales Area India and Rock Processing production organization, ensuring adherence to Sandvik Code of Conduct, Sandvik Group and Rock Processing policies, and applicable Indian and international laws. The role carries a compliance-weighted mandate reinforced by hands-on legal and governance support.
Emphasizing a risk-based approach, business focus, practical business integration and a mindset of continuous improvement, the counsel embeds compliance into day-to-day operations, defines and implement appropriate governance framework in line with Sandvik Group and Rock Processing models, support business with day-to-day legal and compliance inquiries and acts as a trusted advisor and Legal and Compliance business partner to local management while reporting functionally to the Rock Proce
