Pratt and Whitney’s Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Engineer II – Structural Engineering.
The position requires an engineer with extraordinary customer focus, strong technical acumen, outstanding critical thinking ability, and crisp communication skills to execute projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure successful execution of projects using Engineering Standard Work (ESW).
• Perform state-of-the-art ANSYS Finite Element Analysis for stress, vibration, determination of low cycle fatigue life and residual life (fracture mechanics) prediction.
• Ability to write clear substantiation documentation, as well as to create and provide impactful, persuasive technical presentations to internal and external customers.
• Drive execution efficiency on project commitments with high technical quality
• Support planning and manage the technical tasks and milestones
• Collaborate with project, discipline stakeholders to resolve key structural problems
• Embrace a continuous improvement philosophy. Develop and incorporate recent
