Purpose
The CIM Associate supports the review and update of customer identity information, so records are accurate,
complete and handled in line with approved procedures.
The role completes assigned processing tasks, records clear notes, identifies missing or inconsistent information and escalates anything outside the standard process. Training and guidance will be provided.
Key accountabilities
• Review customer details and documents using the required checklist.
• Update approved systems accurately and maintain transparent case notes.
• Complete assigned work within agreed time and quality expectations.
• Follow procedures, privacy requirements and information-security controls.
• Identify missing information, errors or unusual cases and escalate promptly.
• Respond positively to feedback, complete required training and support team objectives.
• Confirm whether a case meets the standard checklist requirements.
• Decide when information is incomplete or unclear and requires escalation.
