Role Purpose Statement:
This position requires a deep understanding of end-to-end R2R processes, a strong focus on continuous improvement and transformation, and exceptional leadership abilities. The Deputy General Manager will deputize for the General Manager, overseeing daily operations, leading and mentoring the team, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
The R2R function interacts with numerous stakeholders across the organization, including other finance teams (Controlling, FP&A;, Treasury and Tax), business units, and external parties (auditors). Effectively communicating and collaborating with these stakeholders can be challenging.
Building solid relationships with key stakeholders, effectively communicating financial information, and resolving conflicts.
Balancing the needs of different stakeholders requires diplomacy and strong communication skills.
Main Accountabilities:
• Leading and managing R2R transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
• Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for process improvement and automation, including the implementation of RPA, data analytics, and other digital tools. Developing and executing project plans for transformation initiatives, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Managing all aspects of Trade accounting ,financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to relevant accounting standards (like IFRS or US GAAP) and regulatory requirements. This includes establishing and maintaining a robust internal control framework for all RTR activities.
