This position is within WSP’s Mining & Metals division. This division provides a full range of services to mining operators, including all services offered in the field of engineering. The Metallurgist will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing projects involving the construction of recent infrastructure or the modification of existing works.
To meet these growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking a candidate for the role of Senior Metallurgy engineer to join our Indian team located at Noida (UP).
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain contact with stakeholders to define needs, present technical information, concepts, or study results;
• Produce mass balances, define process flow diagrams, size and select process equipment, and develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;);
• Define laboratory testing programs, ensure their supervision, and analyze results;
• Prepare and review tender documents, specifications, and other technical documents;
• Assist the project manager as needed;
• Perform any other related tasks that may assist in the execution of the project.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering, or any other training considered equivalent;
