We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Group RoTE/EP Reporting
Purpose of the role
Post-crisis, and with the implementation of Basel III, capital has become a scarce resource and the Group Treasury processes need to evolve to reflect this. Return on Tangible Equity (RoTE) and Economic Profit (EP) reporting are now an integral part of Finance Processes, including Financial Resource Planning.
This requires successful co-ordination of activities across a wide range of stakeholders against frequently tight timetables, the ability to work collaboratively with other teams within Finance and outside finance, while providing an effective review and challenge, the ability to place the financial results within a commercial context and identify opportunities for improvement, and clear communication of the outcomes. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of Group RoTE/EP Reporting within Group Treasury Regulatory Strategy control under the Group Treasury. This role will support extensively to Group Treasury’s requirements and provide support in delivering the RoTE/EP outcomes to the Group, Global Businesses and Regions, for internal and external reporting.
