WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Team Lead- Stock Accounting you are responsible for the daily operations of the designated areas of Stock accounting processes by ensuring that the processes are handled in a timely manner. You develop and improve our way-of-working with the stock accounting processes and are responsible for enabling efficient collaboration with relevant stakeholders, to ensure quality within our reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure quality within stock/inventory accounting through guidance to your colleagues
• Lead end-to-end accounting for intercompany inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, transfers, and settlements.

• Take responsibility for your own increased understanding and knowledge about the processes and routines within H&M;, this to ensure progress within your area of responsibility
• Establish an understanding of the different local setups and requirements of the group applicable for your area of responsibility, to ensure correct level of support to each local team




• Challenge our current routines and safeguard that we constantly work to improve our routines and guidelines
• Communicate with and provide information and documentation to our stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
• Must possess deep understanding of the stock accounting processes within H&M; Group.
• Make sure and execute the daily operation in an effective way within in the GL Stock Accounting area according to the SLA including but not limited to:
• Perform Preparation & review of accrual/journal entries in excel template, uploading the journal entries in Cadency tool Journal Module.
• Must possess knowledge on closing tasks in Close Module, Certification module in Cadency.
• Ensure the Reconciliation/Accounting Guidelines are followed for all the balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure there is regular follow-ups in place to clear open-line items in reconciliations.
• Ensure there are no duplicate journal entries processed by running report
