PACCAR India is seeking an experienced Technical Lead, Engineering to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will lead the design and development of Cab & Hood systems, including cab structures, interior and exterior trim, hood systems, closures, chassis-mounted components, and associated brackets throughout the product development lifecycle.
As a Technical Lead, you will provide technical direction and engineering solutions for complex design challenges while guiding the development of robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective products. Leveraging your expertise in Creo Parametric, sheet metal and plastic part design, vehicle packaging, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes, you will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive successful program execution from concept through production release.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical direction and engineering solutions for complex design challenges.
• Lead the conceptualization and design of Cab Interior and Exterior components, ensuring compliance with performance, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
• Work on customer option-based models & drawing with the use of Creo Family Table pro level.
• Develop robust sheet‑metal & plastic part designs with a robust understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T;, BOM creation, with adherence to engineering standards.
• Review and guide the creation of CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings to ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
